CVS Pharmacy is the largest pharmacy chain in the United States. It offers a complete range of photo services, including prints, cards, books and gifts.
The online ordering system was created for CVS by a Vancouver, BC company, with an extended team of designers and programmers in Vancouver and Toronto putting together what was a large and complex site.
Our role included creating the look for various sections of the site while keeping it within the broad design parameters of the project. Ensuring that a visitor would find the site easy to navigate and use was just as important as the eye-candy appeal.
Large graphics to promote the primary offering on the page, the positioning and choice of colours for the buttons, the limitations on any elements that distracted from the ordering process…everything was designed with a view to make the visitor's online shopping experience fast and friendly.
